Achieve print workflow automation

The life cycle of each file has become more efficient at all stages through our production studios. We now control our internal approve cycles behind the scenes removing the latency from production, the status of each file is fed back into our internal management information system automatically so everyone from management to the operators know exactly where and at what stage a task or project is at instantly.

A logical, first measure to realize our goals was the introduction of PACKZ as a “Swiss army knife” for prepress. This software solution proved to be a key factor in significantly improving automation and efficiency in our prepress operations and laying the foundations for the following steps. Thanks to PACKZ’s intuitive features and flexibility, we were able to successfully renovate our established but aging ways of working and adapt them to the current demands of the market.

In the past, e-mails were written manually with the PDF documents attached. Sometimes reminders had be sent and people had to search for the replies. Now a link is sent automatically, which the customers can use to view the files in high resolution. If necessary, they can contact prepress directly and, once everything is in order, approve the document using the system.

We can automate almost everything, which means we can complete assignments more quickly and reduce the risk of errors. That will bring us closer to our goal: offering our customers solutions and ‘thinking before we print’. Automation will enable us to work even more efficiently and give our employees more time to respond to customers’ questions and cope with our future growth.
