Sustainability is embedded into our products
We endeavour to make our products and technologies highly efficient, analyzing and optimizing print files to reduce wastage of ink and printed materials, and fast, ensuring files fly through the press at speed thereby using less memory, processing power and energy.
Our range of software products are a smart solution for companies looking to improve their sustainability efforts. For example, Press Preview from our latest module Advanced Color within PACKZ provides a snapshot of your printed artwork under various printing conditions, including spot colours, lending itself to reduced ink and plate consumption. iC3D packaging design software supports realistic digital mockups so that packaging designs can be created and tested digitally, significantly reducing the need for physical prototyping and the associated material waste.
We form strategic partnerships
We are proud to partner with Digimarc, to support the verification and generation of Digimarc watermarks into packaging artwork from within our software. Digimarc technology increases sustainability by digitizing products and packaging with detectable watermarks, for smart packaging recycling. Furthermore, we support Digimarc’s HolyGrail 2.0 project, which is designed to ignite change and accelerate progress across the entire plastics value chain to address plastic waste at its source.

We also have local support teams, and regularly evaluate ways to reduce our carbon footprint so that our employees need to drive and fly less.

Since October 2021, our parent company, Hybrid Software Group, has been working towards compensating for the environmental footprint of every employee in their work and personal life. At work, the Group is implementing policies to reduce our carbon footprint such as sourcing renewable energy and low-carbon travel.
Hybrid Software Group has also partnered with Ecologi to offset the carbon footprint of all Group employees. To date the Company has achieved an offset over 3,000 tonnes of CO2e and contributed to environmental projects across the globe, such as producing electricity from wind power in Northeast Thailand and preserving the Amazonian rainforest in Brazil. In addition, the Group has so far planted over 44,000 trees across the world in areas including Madagascar, Mozambique and the Ecuadorean Andes, to name a few.
