Hybrid Software Helix, formerly Global Graphics Software and a leading developer of core technologies for industrial inkjet printing, is strengthening its presence in the Americas with an expanded US-based commercial and technical team. The appointments follow the integration of Xitron’s Navigator digital front end (DFE) business into Helix, bringing additional expertise and resources to support digital press manufacturers across the region.

Eric Nelsen joins Helix from Xitron as Business Director, bringing extensive knowledge of the US digital printing market, Navigator DFE technology and its OEM customer base. He will lead business development for the DFE portfolio across the Americas. Also joining from Xitron is Dan MacKillop as Technical Product Expert, providing specialist knowledge of Navigator DFE and supporting customers as the product transitions into the Helix portfolio.

Sarah Ervin has been appointed Senior SmartDFE Technical Product Expert within the Technical Services team. Ervin will work closely with OEM customers, helping them integrate and deploy SmartDFE technology and make full use of its capabilities within their printing systems.

Together with existing US-based OEM Sales Manager Peter Kushnieruk, the three appointments establish a stronger Americas team, combining commercial and technical expertise to support existing customers and develop new business opportunities.

Justin Bailey, Managing Director of Hybrid Software Helix, commented: “Having experienced people close to our customers is essential, particularly when integrating complex DFE technology into digital printing systems. By expanding our team in the Americas, we can provide more direct technical support and work more closely with OEMs as they develop their next generation of products.

“Eric, Dan and Sarah bring valuable experience and complementary skills to Helix. Together with Peter, they give us the expertise and resources to respond more effectively to customer needs and support our continued growth across the Americas.”
