At St George’s Park, the home of England’s national football teams, our own UK team huddled together with our customers for the annual Huddle, and equipped with our partners in attendance – Miraclon, Bobst, Infigo and AB Graphic – HYBRID was ready for a successful kickoff.
„The HYBRID Huddle was a great event with exciting new automation and visualisation technologies. Well worth my time attending!“, shares John Pritchard, Label Packaging and Inkjet Consultant at Konica Minolta Business Solutions.
Huddle Highlights
We demonstrated our portfolio of prepress & workflow software for labels and packaging. Featured was PACKZ‘ new tools to predict the color of printed artwork under various printing conditions, plus different spot color strategies. The Advanced Color feature helps label and packaging producers accurately reproduce brand colors using the fewest possible spot colors—and therefore, the lowest production cost.
Not to be missed was Content XML for dynamic content creation using standard markup language, and Packzimizer for intelligent ganging of digital and offset label production.
Next up was MyCLOUDFLOW, our SaaS solution for file processing, asset management, soft proofing and workflow automation hosted in the AWS cloud and professionally managed by HYBRID Software personnel.
Ultimately PACKZ and CLOUDFLOW’s optional Colorspace modules were showcased. Colorspace is built on ColorLogic technology for exceptional brand color matching along with cost-effective ink optimization.
Look no further to automate your digital printing. Inspect multiple jobs on a roll without stopping the digital press with TubeScan’s Dynamic Job Change from BST. The TubeScan inspection system is fully integrated with our leading prepress software PACKZ. Inspection of new jobs is done uninterrupted, and the software automatically alerts the operator of issues, so operators can focus on printing. Prepress operators receive automatic alerts from the Tube Scan inspection system for issues, often before the press itself detects a malfunction.
Infigo Head of Global Sales, Paul Bromley and Technical Operations Director, Alex Bowell, were on-hand to demonstrate the new Infigo Connect: The HYBRID Software integration allows web-to-pack operators to create beautifully branded online storefronts, that can take orders and payment, and allow users to upload designs and edit templates, without any manual intervention.
Last but not least important, our new collaboration between with AB Graphic International raises the bar for label and packaging finishing automation. The integration is centered around three key areas that promise to deliver unprecedented operational enhancements: streamlined setup with automated slitting parameters, enhanced inspection automation, and efficient laser cutting. Experience Hybrid in 3 Dimensions
A graphic designer was on site creating real-time illustrations of the Huddle’s important announcements.
Via the photorealistic rendering capabilities of iC3D, these drawings have been stitched together into a 3D football. We hope you have fun looking at the result here.
Shout out to Graphic Change for their impressive work and creative drawings.
